Custom Font

This is my custom font that I created using Adobe illustrator. I connected my "i" and my "d" to make it unique. I also squished all my letters together so it looked cleaner.

My Better Blog

I finally finished my new blog look. I went for a simpler background color to kind of be less in your face. I added an HTML/Javascript. I also labeled all my posts and added gadgets and tags to all of them. I customized my overall appearance by changing the font and some of the colors in my blog. I messed around with the CSS and I followed CARP for most of my design. I used contrast with the colors and fonts in my blog, I used alignment for the spacing between my posts and I shifted my whole blogs alignment to the left. I see repetition with my headings and my font colors.

This was a second movie poster for the same movie that I made just for fun.

Saul Bass Movie Poster

For this project I used photoshop and adobe illustrator to create my poster. I enjoyed this project a lot and I thought it was really fun. I wish I would have had a more creative story behind my poster and if i did this project again I would pick a different movie and maybe do more research on Saul Bass.

10 Valuable Things

This is my 10 most valuable things poster and I made this using InDesign on MAC. The scope of this project was to create a poster describing the top 10 things we value. I enjoyed this project and I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Postcards

These are the three postcard I created using photoshop. I made one regarding myself, one about christmas, and one Hawaii postcard. I used the pen tool, the quick selection tool, and explored paths and layers with all these post cards. This was difficult at first but after you got the hang of it, it wasn't too bad. I struggled with the pen tool but I have a better understanding of it now. Overall this projects were challenging but fun.
